Simmone von Sydney shoots for Enchanted Bridal (Australia)

When I was younger, my sister used to dress me up in my mother's super 80's dresses that she'd modified with safety pins, and we'd host a fashion parade for my parents. To advertise the 'event', we plastered posters throughout the house, and charged our parents a small fee to sit in our living room, and watch for the millionth time, me walking around in one of my sisters 'creations' as we played White Zombie's 'Electric Head Pt. 1' or Prince's 'Batdance' (songs I bashfully admit to now knowing word for word!).

What started out as my sister simply playing dress up, evolved into an absolutely amazing talent for creating clothes. She flew all the way from Australia to visit me earlier this year, and brought along with her 6 dresses from her new collection of bridal gowns, and it's with great pleasure that I was able to photograph these extraordinarily beautiful wedding dresses for her new store that is to be opening in Australia, later this year called Enchanted Bridal.

Special thanks to Bethany 'Queen B' Bell for hair, Michelle Rivera for makeup, Candace Whaley of Authentic8ke Style for wardrobe and models Vanessa Marie Caruso, Kylene Yee, Erin Bakes and Rachael Lynn.

Lastly, thank you to my amazing sister Amanda, for giving me the opportunity to work with you! This songs for you-

Simmone von Sydney shoots for Haight Ashbury Co.

I worked with the clothing company Haight Ashbury Co recently to photograph some of their new line, with the beautiful female model Gabby Gormley, and my exceptionally handsome fiancĂ© Biaggo Comeriato modeling the clothing.
We made the most of these beautiful summer days, and headed down to Stone Harbor, New Jersey, for some beach inspired shooting.

Here are some of the beauties we got that day:

Kenya & Raymond's E-Session

I met with Kenya and Raymond at the Random Tea Room in North Philadelphia in late June, nestled quietly in a corner, sipping on chai tea and enjoying a piece of cake.
I wandered around the city with them, talking about their wedding plans, what they'd been up to since our initial meeting, snapping pictures and watching how effortlessly and adorably in love they are.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

Looking forward to their wedding later this year!

Tara & Joseph's Center City, Philadelphia Wedding.

I worked as a second shooter for Tara and Joseph's gorgeous wedding, located in the heart of Philadelphia on May 28th.
I spent the morning with Tara and her bridesmaids in their bridal suite with one of the best views of center city I've ever seen, while David Schrott, the other photographer, worked with Joseph and his groomsmen.
The ladies and I then caught a taxi to City Hall for a few photos before Tara and Joseph said their "I Do's". After their beautifully, heartfelt vows, now man and wife, Tara and Joseph, the bridal party, and David and I headed to Love Park for a few shots, then we all caught the subway (and yes, it really was as fun and crazy as it sounds!) to Old City for their reception.
Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Kristen & Randy's Wedding

Kristen and Randy got married in May, on Friday the 13th in the beautiful Parkesburg United Methodist Church, in Parkesburg, PA.
My job was short and sweet, just ceremony and some posed pictures afterwards.
The church was nestled into a hill on the main street of Parkesburg, so we climbed the hill to take some pictures of Kristen and Randy amongst the greenery before they headed off to their reception.
Here are a few of my favorites.

Allison and Shane's E-Session

Allison and Shane live in England, so needless to say, they travelled pretty far for these engagement photos! Ok, ok. They were actually visiting Allison's family, so they didn't technically travel all this way just for pictures, but it was great that they managed to find some time for me to snap some, and to make the most of the beautiful Spring weather whilst they were in Philadelphia.
Allison had mentioned that they both like city parks and brick walls, so we started our e-session in Rittenhouse park, and meandered around from there.
Here are a few of my favorites.

They'll be getting married in December this year. Can't wait for their wedding!

holy HAIR!

I had the pleasure of shooting this series a few months back for the incredibly talented hairstylist Bethany 'Queen B' Bell and have been eagerly awaiting the day when I could share it with you all. The beautiful models (in order shown below) were Erin Bakes, Vanessa Banks, Gerube Valdez and Rachael Platt. The shoot took over 12 hours since these looks were so complicated to construct, and Bethany actually created all these hairstyles and did all the makeup by herself!
The concept was to make these ladies look like mannequins, so I did a lot of post production to these images to help achieve that look and Michael operated a smoke machine in the background to try and create some drama.

It was a long day, but all the hard work, time and effort was worth it for these pretty pictures!
