Sneak Peek: Rhea & Brendan's Wedding

Rhea and Brendan were married Saturday, August 20th at the Arch Street Meeting House, and had their reception at The Painted Bride Arts Center, both in Old City, Philadelphia.
Here's a sneak peek of some of the portraits I took of the adorable couple that day. Loads more to come!
Congratulations once again to Rhea and Brendan, and thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

Simmone von Sydney shoots for Enchanted Bridal (Australia)

When I was younger, my sister used to dress me up in my mother's super 80's dresses that she'd modified with safety pins, and we'd host a fashion parade for my parents. To advertise the 'event', we plastered posters throughout the house, and charged our parents a small fee to sit in our living room, and watch for the millionth time, me walking around in one of my sisters 'creations' as we played White Zombie's 'Electric Head Pt. 1' or Prince's 'Batdance' (songs I bashfully admit to now knowing word for word!).

What started out as my sister simply playing dress up, evolved into an absolutely amazing talent for creating clothes. She flew all the way from Australia to visit me earlier this year, and brought along with her 6 dresses from her new collection of bridal gowns, and it's with great pleasure that I was able to photograph these extraordinarily beautiful wedding dresses for her new store that is to be opening in Australia, later this year called Enchanted Bridal.

Special thanks to Bethany 'Queen B' Bell for hair, Michelle Rivera for makeup, Candace Whaley of Authentic8ke Style for wardrobe and models Vanessa Marie Caruso, Kylene Yee, Erin Bakes and Rachael Lynn.

Lastly, thank you to my amazing sister Amanda, for giving me the opportunity to work with you! This songs for you-

Simmone von Sydney shoots for Haight Ashbury Co.

I worked with the clothing company Haight Ashbury Co recently to photograph some of their new line, with the beautiful female model Gabby Gormley, and my exceptionally handsome fiancĂ© Biaggo Comeriato modeling the clothing.
We made the most of these beautiful summer days, and headed down to Stone Harbor, New Jersey, for some beach inspired shooting.

Here are some of the beauties we got that day:

Kenya & Raymond's E-Session

I met with Kenya and Raymond at the Random Tea Room in North Philadelphia in late June, nestled quietly in a corner, sipping on chai tea and enjoying a piece of cake.
I wandered around the city with them, talking about their wedding plans, what they'd been up to since our initial meeting, snapping pictures and watching how effortlessly and adorably in love they are.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

Looking forward to their wedding later this year!
